WideScreen Games, founded in December 1999, is an independent studio based in Lyon.

Since its creation, WideScreen Games have developed numerous console and PC titles with international publishers, games such as Dead to rights II, published by Namco on PS2, Xbox in PAL and NTSC, and PC. Dead to Rights II is distributed by Electronic Arts in Europe and Namco Hometek in North America.

Widescreen Games are currently developing a PS3 and Xbox360 game based on a well-known film and TV series licence, hand-in-hand with a major European editor.

WideScreen Games employ more than 90 people full time. Their experience and creativity with action/adventure games are recognized throughout the industry.

WideScreen Games have developed powerful in-house tools specifically for next-gen (PS3 and Xbox360) and PC action/adventure games. These tools and technologies make for dependable, quick and efficient development of action/adventure games.

WideScreen Games have also honed their experience in using the UNREAL3 engine for next-gen platforms.

To be able to continue growing and to set up their own in-house Motion Capture studio, WideScreen Games recently moved into new, better-adapted premises.
